Rock Operas based on video games are awesome. If I had any musical talent whatsoever I would also write them. The end. |

The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me!
My choice. For you.
This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
-I make no guarantees that you will like what I make! -What I create will be just for you. -It'll be done this year. No guarantees when; it will be a total surprise! -You have no clue what it's going to be. It may be poetry. I may draw or paint something. Who knows? -I reserve the right to do something extremely strange. -When you comment, please include your favorite color. I may use this information, or maybe not. Depends on my mood. ;)
The catch? Oh, the catch is that you have to repost this, and repost right away. We can all make stuff and make someone's day a little bit brighter! Don't respond if you aren't going to offer the same thing. |

February 13th, 2006 on my old FadedFailure blog:
"Today I passes 5,000 songs on my iTunes. I feel pleased and dorkish at the same time."
I now have 10,630 songs on my compy. That's almost 50 GBs of music. I feel pleased, dorkish, and a smidge illegal now ;) |

How can the south rise again if they can't agree on a president?

| my last week |
[Sep. 22nd, 2008|12:08 am] |
Last Sunday was the windstorm from hell. I went into work at 1 with the weather being muggy and stale outside. 4 hours later I emerge from the mall to hurricane winds in Ohio. I drive home looking at all the tree limbs and run-away trash cans. I go to church for choir practice. While singing I peer out the windows every time the wind bursts. After choir practice I run the sound for the lil' kids choir. Power goes out before I get to run a single song, so I stay in the sanctuary and watch the tree line between the church and our house (the parsonage) sway violently too and fro. While I'm watching the Sunday evening prayer service starts in the sunlit foyer of the church; I watch two trees fall across my driveway while in silent prayer. After the short service, I brave the elements to get to my car and luckily I can drive around the downed trees to make it to the safety of my garage. I notice a metal plate in my yard along with vinyl siding. I search my house for their origins: the metal plate came from the top of one of my chimneys and the siding is from one of the corners of the house. I put the wreckage in my garage and go scope out the fallen trees. I know they are too big to move by myself but I try to drag one anyway. I'm getting pelted by pine cones with every rush of the wind. I go inside the sunlit house to wait out the wind and hope that the power would soon return. I stay away from the windows, fearful that the next burst of wind will surely send shrapnel flying. It gets dark and I drag out the candles. I try to read but I'm much more fascinated with the sound of the rushing wind. I get in touch with my wife; thank God the cell phones still work. She comes home before midnight and we go to bed, windows open, sounds of cars and secadas. Thankfully my parents have power and running water, so we spend the next few days there until our power is restored on Thursday.
